In this paper we developed the sell-centered finite difference schemes  
for two dimensional singularly perturbed convection-diffusion problems 
$$ Lu(x,y)=-\varepsilon \Delta u +a_1u_x + a_2 u_y + bu=f(x,y)$$  
with  interface $\Gamma$. 
Theoretical results and numerical experiments for   
fitted-operator and fitted  mesh (Shishkin's mesh) 
approximations are   presented.
